Da Nang is taking actions to attract a new wave of domestic and foreign investors following its great efforts to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
Top priority will be given to attracting domestic and foreign investment into such aspects as information and communication technology, digital, nanotechnology, bio-industry, and hi-tech and support industries.
Meanwhile, projects consuming much energy, using outdated technologies and posing high risk of environmental pollution will be rejected.
Greater efforts will be exerted to effectively implement ‘2020: the Year of Promoting Investment Attraction’ landmark campaign, and successfully organise the Da Nang Investment Forum 2020 which is scheduled to take place in the city in September
The Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade will develop the city’s master plan on socio-economic development to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
The Department of Natural Resources and the Environment will perfect infrastructure to attract new wave of investors from such foreign countries as Japan, South Korea, Singapore and the USA.
