Da Nang government will provide over 52 billion VND in funding to give Tet gifts and grant allowances to poor social policy beneficiaries across the city.
The receivers will include senior revolutionary veterans, very poor social policy families, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, People’s Armed Forces heroes, labour heroes, war invalids, and the families of martyrs.
Da Nang People’s Committee will also present Tet gifts to more than 4,000 very poor families in the city.
In addition, the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee plans to raise over 3 billion VND from generous individuals and organisations citywide to support Tet gifts for nearly 10,000 poor families in the city.
In 2021, Da Nang plans to build new houses and repair downgraded ones for 707 poor social policy families at a total cost of 22.3 billion VND.
