8 teams to compete in DIFF 2019

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2019 will take place in the city from 1 June to 6 July. The wonderful display by Team Italy at DIFF 2018 Themed ‘Nhung dong song ke chuyen’ (Rivers tell stories), next year’s festival will feature the participation of 8 teams, namely Russia, Brazil, Belgium, Finland, Italy, UK, China, and Da Nang-Viet Nam. The fireworks will be set off at the former Han River Port near the Novotel on Bach Dang, whilst viewing stands for spectators will be set up on the eastern bank of the Han River, again as in previous years. Each fireworks performance is required to last between 20 and 22 minutes. Following recent instructions from the municipal authorities, the festival’s organiser Sun Group will develop detailed organisation plans for the international-scale event, including DIFF 2019- related general information, competition schedules, and support activities before and during the event, by late December this year. Also the focus will be on coordinating with relevant agencies to widely publicise the festival, and to ensure the traffic safety and social order before, during and after the event.
