Da Nang’s domestic tax collection reaches 123.8% of estimate

As reported by the Da Nang Tax Department, VND18,700 billion was collected from domestic taxes in 2022 alone, equivalent to 123.8% of the central estimate and a growth of 5.7% compared to the implementation last year. Of the total, VND2,460 billion in revenue was generated from land use levy, representing 91.1% of the estimate and equaling 101.8% over the same period. Meanwhile, the city’s domestic tax collection excluding land use fees was VND16,240 billion, equivalent to 130.9% of the estimate and up by 6.4 % against 2021. In terms of fields, 13 out of the 17 taxes were estimated to meet and exceed the assigned estimates. With regard to areas, the municipal-level domestic collection in 2022 was estimated at VND12,878 billion, exceeding the estimate by 18% and equaling 100.3% over the same period. The domestic revenue in district level was VND5,296 billion, representing 138.1% of the estimate and equaling 119% over the same period. In particular, Hoa Vang District’s domestic revenue hit VND524 billion, reaching 146.4% of the estimate and equaling 135.5% over the same period. In 2023, the city’s domestic revenue assigned by the Central Government is estimated to reach VND18,431 billion, up 7.2% compared to the estimated figure in 2022.
