Hoa Hiep Bac IC and hi-tech vegetable production area to be built

The Da Nang People’s Committee has already approved the detailed 1:500 planning map for the construction of the Hoa Hiep Bac Industrial Cluster (IC). Covering an area of 144,800m2, the IC will border the newly-planned railway corridor to the north and the west; residential areas and the Lien Chieu Industrial Park to the south; and residential areas and the National Highway 1A to the east. The planned project features industrial land for lease to private enterprises currently located in local residential areas, green-covered areas, wastewater treatment stations and working places for the IC’s staff members. In a similar vein, the green light from the city authorities has also given to the detailed 1:500 planning map for a hi-tech agricultural production area in the communes of Hoa Khuong and Hoa Phong covering a total area of 162,137m2. In detail, the site will border a vacant land area to the north, a cemetery to the south, the An Chau stream to the west, and the Nam Thanh residential area to the east. This venue will designed to consist of organic vegetable growing areas, net houses, plant nurseries, accommodations for farmers, workshops, areas for incubating organic materials, observation huts, and auxiliary facilities.
