Semicon Da Nang 2024 slated for August 29 – 30

The Semiconductor Da Nang Day 2024 (Semicon Da Nang 2024) is scheduled to be held at the Ariyana Convention Centre Danang on August 29 and 30 in in-person and online formats, according to the municipal Department of Information and Communications. The event aims to promote the city’s potential, advantages, and investment opportunities in semiconductor in a bid to attract domestic and foreign investment resources, especially foreign direct investment (FDI) capital. During the event, information about the city’s preferential policies and investment support for strategic investors and partners in the semiconductor industry, and the current situation and development orientation of the local semiconductor sector will be provided for participants. The event will feature discussions about solutions and policies for the development of the city’s semiconductor industry in the future. At the same time, it will facilitate connections among State management agencies, human resource training establishments, associations, and units using human resources in the semiconductor industry, aiming to improve the quality of human resources to serve the development of the semiconductor industry in the city. This will help Da Nang build its brand as a semiconductor centre in Central Viet Nam, as well as demonstrate its pioneering role in developing the field. Also high on the agenda of the event will include the Da Nang Semiconductor Investment Promotion Conference; a conference to promote human resource supply and demand connection in semiconductor; meetings and working sessions between the city leaders and businesses and investors; a programme to connect businesses and training facilities; an exhibition featuring photos and projects about the city and its development orientation.
