Meet Da Nang 2024: New connection opportunities between Da Nang and partners to be opened

Various investment promotion activities and business meetings will be organised at the ‘Meet Da Nang 2024’ forum which is slated to take place in the city on January 26. It will be a chance for partners to express their expectations and share multi-dimensional perspectives from the government, businesses, diplomats and international guests about the city’s readiness in the coming time. This is also the opening business event of 2024, promising to open up many new connection opportunities between Da Nang and its partners. The event is expected to attract 300-400 domestic and international guests, including representatives of national government leaders, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and a number of international organisations, businesses and foreign investors. As part of the series of activities of the event, a ceremony will be held on the morning of January 26 to announce the decision on the establishment of the Da Nang Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Center for Research and Training (DSAC). Also, a talk show on building policies to promote the development of integrated circuit design in the city will take place on the same day. In addition, participants at the event will be arranged to conduct field visits to the city’s High-Tech Park, Lien Chieu Port, Centralised Information Technology Park, Software Park and a number of social and cultural facilities. Aside from the plenary sessions, delegates will attend two thematic sessions entitled ‘Unlocking international cooperation resources to promote socio-economic development’ and ‘Da Nang is ready to welcome the new waves’. Also within the framework of the event, the signing ceremonies of Memoranda of Understanding between Da Nang’s agencies, and international organisations and businesses, will be organised.
