Cross-border e-commerce encouraged in Da Nang businesses

Export promotion solutions were put in the spotlight at a training and consultancy programme entitled ‘How to conquer the world’s largest consumer markets through cross-border e-commerce with Amazon’ in Da Nang on Friday. Co-hosted by the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Amazon Global Selling, the event attracted nearly 100 manufacturers and brand owners in Da Nang. The programme aimed to meet the online export needs of businesses in Da Nang, and Viet Nam at large, raise the domestic business community’s awareness of cross-border e-commerce, as well as encourage and support enterprises to develop international business and introduce Vietnamese products and brands to global customers through cross-border e-commerce. During the programme, participating businesses shared practical experience, and learned about the journey starting with cross-border e-commerce, thereby building a global brand and approaching international customers.
