Da Nang receives additional VND500 million in support for its COVID-19 fight

Recently, the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee received VND500 milion in aid from the city-based Rubber JSC (DRC) to support the city’s efforts in its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Photo: VAN SUM Speaking at the ceremony for donation reception, Vice Chairman of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee Duong Dinh Lieu, thanked DRC’s leaders and staff for their generosity and support to help the city combat the pandemic. Previously, in June 2021, DRC donated 500 million VND to the city’s Vaccine Fund. Vice Chairman Lieu also informed that the whole city has about 10,000 households in need of support to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, including those adversely affected by COVID-19. He noted the municipal Fatherland Front Committee and its chapters citywide will actively carry out the 2022 ‘Spring of Love’ volunteer campaign in an effort to help the poor celebrate a warm and happy Tet.
