Da Nang imposes temporary suspension of karaoke bars, discotheques, some non-essential business from May 3 over COVID-19 concerns

In order to tightening the strict practice of effective measures against COVID-19, the Da Nang government has imposed temporary suspension of all karaoke bars, discotheques, video game services, and trade activities in the pedestrian neighborhoods and night markets across the city from 0:00am on May 3 until further notice. The municipal administration came amid the complex developments of COVID-19, especially Viet Nam recorded some locally transmitted cases in recent years. The district-level authorities must be responsible for implementing surprise inspections and promptly handling organisations and individuals for violating the mandatory regulations.
