Following a recent green light given by the Da Nang administration, over 16.7 billion VND from the city budget will go to the upgrade and expansion of the urban information technology (IT) service within the framework of the progressing smart city building project.
The upgrade work aims at ensuring the effective operation of the transmission infrastructure to initially create an intelligent platform and database applications in tandem with enhancing the transmission capacity for the better connection between urban IT network and government agencies, industrial parks, schools, hospitals and other public places across the city.
The upgrade is expected to be implemented in the 2019 – 2021 period.
