Da Nang government has set on-street car parking charges in some areas, and new charges for car parking on Tran Phu and Bach Dang streets will take effect from early January 2021.
New car parking charges will range between 15,000 VND and 40,000 VND, depending on types of vehicles and parking time.
New charges for under 16-seater coaches and under 2.5-tonne trucks will be 15,000 VND per vehicle per hour for the first and second hours, 20,000 VND for the third and fourth hours, and 25,000 VND from the fifth hour.
New charges of 20,000 VND will be recommended for 16 to 30-seater coaches, and 2.5 to 3.5-tonne trucks, per hour for the first and second hours, 25,000 VND for the next two hours, and 30,000 VND from the fifth hour.
For over 30-seater coaches and over 3.5-tonne trucks, parking charges will be 30,000 VND per hour for the first and the second hours, 35,000 VND for the next two, and 40,000 VND from the fifth hour.
New car parking charges will be applied between 6.00am to 10.00pm every day.
Fire engines, ambulances and other specialised vehicles, all of which are on official duty in accordance with Vietnamese laws, will be permitted to park free of charge.
