Applying AI to business management

Hundreds of businesses across Da Nang are taking part in a workshop titled “Optimising costs, improving performance – Smart businesses applying AI” on May 23 and 24. Photo: THANH LAN The event was organised by the Centre for Enterprise Support under the Department of Finance in coordination with the municipal Department of Science and Technology, the city’s Association of Young Entrepreneurs, the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Training and Consulting Club, and tech experts and partners in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). According to Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Finance Dang Dinh Duc, the two-day workshop is a practical and highly actionable event designed to help businesses understand trends, access technology, and most importantly, effectively implement AI in management, operations, and development. During the event, several leading experts shared their insights and provided valuable knowledge and strategies to help businesses gain the necessary skills to effectively apply AI in order to optimise costs and improve operational efficiency, enabling companies to effectively experience and implement AI in line with current trends. These experts included Professor Dinh Toan Trung, Head of Strategy at the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Training and Consulting Club; Mr. Le Nguyen Hong Phuong, Chairman of Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs Consulting Training Club cum Chairman of BIT Group Joint Stock Company; and Dr. Nguyen Cong Thuong, Deputy Director of Data and Artificial Intelligence at Vietinbank.
