Da Nang is Parata Air’s first destination in Vietnam. The carrier operates Airbus A330 aircraft offering 294 seats on this route with a frequency of seven flights per week, helping increase the total number of weekly flights between Incheon and Da Nang to 112.

A welcome ceremony for Parata Air’s inaugural flight to Da Nang was held at the international arrival terminal at Da Nang International Airport.

It was attended by representatives from the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, relevant agencies, and partner organizations. Passengers were greeted with traditional art performances and local souvenirs.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Van Ba Son, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that South Korea remained a key market for Da Nang’s tourism, with more than 1.8 million visitors recorded in the first ten months of 2025, accounting for 28.9% of the city’s total international arrivals.

Parata Air’s decision to choose Da Nang as its first destination in Vietnam affirmed the city’s strong appeal and growing position among South Korean travelers, he emphasized.

Mr. Jang Dongwon, Parata Air’s representative in Da Nang, expressed his gratitude for the great support from the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and relevant agencies and units at Da Nang International Airport. He noted that, with this inaugural flight, Parata Air became the 11th South Korean airline to launch a route to Da Nang.

The presence of Parata Air in Da Nang will contribute to further tightening the friendship and cooperation relationship between Vietnam and South Korea, he added.

Parata Air, formerly known as Fly Gangwon, is a South Korean low-cost airline and headquartered in Yangyang, Gangwon Province. The airline resumed operations in late 2025 following a rebranding and investment in a new fleet, including Airbus A320-200 and A330-200 aircrafts.

In November 2025, the airline plans to operate international routes from Seoul and Incheon to Vietnam and Japan (Tokyo, Osaka). For its route in Vietnam, Parata Air offers free travel insurance to passengers to enhance safety and experience throughout the journey.
