Ten enterprises based in Da Nang were honoured for economical and efficient use of energy on Wednesday.
They are the Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading JSC, the Da Nang Rubber JSC (DRC); the Asia Architecture and Trading Co., Ltd- Tan Long Paper Factory, the Hoa Tho Textile and Garment Corporation, the Viet Nam Dairy Products JSC, the Da Nang Water Supply JSC (DAWACO), the Song Han Sun Company Limited – Novotel Hotel, the Da Nang Branch of MM Mega Market Co., Ltd, the Central FPT Software Company Limited, and the Da Nang International Airport.
The honouring ceremony was held in the city by the municipal Department of Industry and Trade and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Launched in late March, the Energy Efficient Industrial Enterprise Award attracted 32 enterprises involving the fields of industrial production and construction. All of them had energy consumption in 2022 from 200 tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE) or more.
