In 2020 alone, the authorities of industrial and hi-tech parks, and economic zones in Central Highlands and Central Coast lured 159 new projects totalling close to 30,500 billion VND.
Of special note, the Authority of Da Nang’s Hi-Tech Park and industrial zones attracted 4,370 billion VND worth of domestic and foreign investment.
In detail, the Authority granted investment licences to 16 new projects valued at a total of 3,576.5 billion VND. Meanwhile, the existing 18 projects raised their capital with a total additional sum of 793.5 billion VND.
The figures have been released at a recent meeting to review the performance of the authorities of industrial and hi-tech parks, and economic zones in Central Highlands and Central Coast.
In 2021, the authorities of industrial and hi-tech parks, and economic zones in Central Highlands and Central Coast will prioritise speeding up administrative reform and the application of information technology to ensure their best operation, as well as creating a positive workplace culture.
Importance will be attached to guaranteeing environmental hygiene, and security and safety in the workplace.
