Christmas spirit lights up Da Nang

These days, the festive atmosphere of Christmas has spread throughout streets of Da Nang. The city is ablaze with sparkling lights, Christmas trees, and vibrant colors, from churches to main streets and coffee shops, all creating a sense of peace and warmth to both residents and visitors.

Since early December, many entertainment venues citywide have been decorated with large Christmas trees, artificial snow carpets, and decorative lights. A blend of classic, elegant Christmas styles and modern, youthful designs has come together to form a lively and captivating festive panorama.

Christmas is the most important holiday for Catholics, so churches are always the center of this season. Therefore, churches across the city have been simultaneously illuminated and adorned in brilliant decorations. They have become popular gathering spaces where people and tourists come to experience the sacred and tranquil atmosphere of Christmas.

Hotels, restaurants, and eateries throughout the city have also invested in impressive Christmas decorations. In particular, at the Furama Resort Danang along Vo Nguyen Giap Street, snow castles, reindeer sleighs, snowmen, and numerous sparkling Christmas trees create a fairytale-like setting, making it an ideal backdrop for visitors’ check-in photos.

Cafés in Da Nang have also donned a new look with Christmas themes. Small corners are decorated with magical lights, mini Christmas trees, pine wreaths and Santa Claus figures, offering cozy and inviting spaces to guests for enjoying coffee and capturing the end-of-year moments as well.
