This is a leading interdisciplinary forum dedicated to big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and networked systems research.
The three-day conference, running from December 14 to 16, is being jointly organised by the Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), under the University of Danang, in collaboration with global academic publisher Springer.
CSoNet has established itself as a prominent platform for researchers working at the intersection of large-scale data networks, computational modeling, and social systems.
CSoNet 2025 focuses on addressing emerging and critical computational challenges, with particular emphasis on foundational theories, technological development, and real-world applications related to the analysis, modeling, and deep learning of large-scale data networks.
The conference brings together expertise across a wide range of fields, including billion-scale network computing, data mining and analytics, cybersecurity, privacy protection, and advanced machine learning techniques.
Participants at this year’s conference represent a diverse international community, with delegates from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, Italy, Australia, India, Denmark and Vietnam.
Discussions center on key issues shaping the future of big data and digital technologies, notably artificial intelligence, cybersecurity resilience, and the governance of data-driven systems.
The scientific programme features more than 60 peer-reviewed research presentations delivered across eight parallel technical sessions and four poster sessions.

Major thematic areas include computer vision and visual understanding; social networks and societal applications; cybersecurity, privacy, and digital forensics; multimodal signal processing and pattern analysis; graph-based learning, language models, and multimodal intelligence; as well as core advances in machine learning.
A highlight of CSoNet 2025 is its plenary session, which includes keynote addresses by three internationally recognised scholars: Professor Bo Chen from the University of Warwick (United Kingdom), Professor My T. Thai from the University of Florida (United States) and Professor Xingquan Zhu from Florida Atlantic University (United States).
Their talks offer strategic insights into cutting-edge research directions and emerging challenges in data science and AI.
In parallel with the main program, the conference also hosts four specialized sessions focusing on computational energy efficiency, predictive analytics, large language model (LLM) and AI frameworks, as well as identification and classification technologies.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Huynh Cong Phap, Co-Chair of the Organizing Committee from VKU, CSoNet 2025 plays a vital role in fostering international research collaboration.
He expressed confidence that the conference would open new avenues for cooperation, facilitate knowledge exchange, and strengthen research networks, contributing to the advancement of data science, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies in Vietnam and globally.
