The ‘Vietnamese Cuisine – International Twists’ cultural exchange event took place at the Furama Resort Danang on Saturday, aimed at promoting tourism and cultural exchange between the cities of Cannes and Nice in the Côte d’Azur region, France, and Da Nang.

The event was jointly organised by the Da Nang Tourism Association, the Da Nang Hotel Association, and the alliance of European universities ULYSSEUS, Cote d’Azur University and Furama Danang resort.
Delegates highlighted the importance of the event in opening up opportunities for cooperation in various aspects such as tourism, culture and academics between the two localities in particular, and in strengthening the sustainable relationship and development of Viet Nam and France in general.
During the event, there were presentations and exchange activities regarding the culture, arts, and tourism of the Côte d’Azur region, France, and Da Nang.
The most highlight of the event was a cultural exchange and presentation featuring dishes from the Côte d’Azur region, France, and Da Nang, Viet Nam. These dishes creatively blended international elements under the theme “Vietnamese Cuisine – International Twists.”
The chefs, including Michelin 2-star Chef Sinicropi Christian, the culinary ambassador of Cannes Côte d’Azur, and Chef Doan Van Tuan, the Head Chef of Furama – Ariyana Danang Tourism Complex, prepared innovative dishes that preserved the exquisite flavours of Vietnamese cuisine with the main ingredient of water lily.
