Da Nang among Vietnam’s top 10 exemplary localities for innovation startup ecosystem development

Da Nang has been honored as one of the country’s top 10 exemplary localities in developing innovation startup ecosystems in 2025. The other countries among the top are Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh, Can Tho, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Khanh Hoa, and Hue. This result shows that Da Nang has been gradually establishing a dynamic startup ecosystem capable of effectively connecting domestic and international resources. The city’s great efforts have been reinforced by the coordinating role of state management agencies, especially the municipal Department of Science and Technology and the local Innovation Startup Support Center, plus the active participation of startup support organizations, incubators, innovation hubs, creative spaces, and the business community. The recognition not only enhances Da Nang’s standing and competitiveness on the national startup map but also affirms its role in achieving socio-economic development goals based on science, technology, and innovation.
