The Da Nang Department of Transport said on Monday that it has required automobile transport business units in the city to complete the pasting of identification cards for vehicles to use non-stop electronic toll collection (ETC) service before August 30.

The Department also suggests road transport associations citywide mobilise their transport units to strictly implement the deployment of terminal tags for ETC service.
The unit asks for support from the municipal Department of Information and Communications in encouraging vehicle owners and drivers to get their vehicles inspected and applied with identification cards in order to satisfy requirements for using the ETC service.
Meanwhile, motor vehicle registration centres across the city are asked to continue to work with relevant agencies and toll collection service providers to accelerate the pasting of identification cards, and promptly solve difficulties and problems arising during the implementation process.
