From January through August, Da Nang attracted US$108.5 million worth of FDI capital, of which there are 2 projects with investment scale of US$5 million and US$60 million, respectively.
The Authority of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones has given a nod to the investment policy for the U.S.’s Vector Fabrication Inc. -developed Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) and printed circuit board (PCB) factory with an investment of US$60 million in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park.
According to the Da Nang Department of Planning and Investment, as of August 30, 2022, the city had attracted US$108.5 million worth of FDI. There were 30 newly-granted projects with a total registered investment capital of US$67.8 million, reaching 45.46% over the same period in 2021. Among them were 27 FDI projects outside local industrial parks (IPs) and the remaining ones were inside IPs.
A positive signal in the city’s FDI attraction in the 8-month time span is the successful calling for such large projects as the US$ 5 million Intex Industries Da Nang factory and the U.S.’ Vector Fabrication Inc –developed Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) and printed circuit board (PCB) factory with an investment of US$60 million.
