Da Nang invites designers to create logo for International Financial Center

Illustrative image: Photo: https://cadn.com.vn/ According to rules recently announced by the Da Nang Department of Finance, the selected logo will be used in communication and promotional activities, serving as the official visual identity on publications and merchandise, and in both domestic and international transactions of the VIFC in Da Nang. Entries must be original and creative, and have not been published, released or used in any other contest previously. They must comply with Vietnam’s Copyright Law. Designs should reflect the characteristics of Da Nang, as well as demonstrate the city’s role in the global financial network and its orientation for the development of the VIFC in Da Nang. Additionally, they must be associated with the city’s innovation ecosystem and the application of strategic technologies, symbolizing a financial hub in accordance with international practices and in line with development trends. Designs may incorporate the abbreviation “VIFC-DN” (Vietnam International Financial Center in Da Nang), showing a modern, minimalist, sophisticated and easily recognizable style. The logo must be highly applicable, ensuring balance and clearly showing the identity of a dynamic and reliable international financial center in the Asia-Pacific region. The design contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens at both home and abroad, as well as foreign nationals currently studying or working in Vietnam, and organizations within and outside the country. There is no limit on the number of entries. Each individual or group may submit multiple designs, with a separate concept explanation for each. The jury will select the three most outstanding designs, to present one First prize worth VND 50 million with a certificate of recognition; and two Consolation Prizes, each worth VND 5 million with a certificate of recognition. The first prize-winning design will be selected as the official logo of the Vietnam International Finance Center in Da Nang.
