Da Nang plans to organize over 50 large-scale cultural and tourism festivals and events in 2026, with focus on public holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), and the peak summer tourist season. The purpose is to lure more visitors to the city as well as promote the local socio-economic development.

The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will continue to be a major highlight attracting visitors in 2026.
According to the plan, the series of events will be designed with diversity in mind, harmoniously combining traditional and contemporary values. Included will be folk festivals, cultural and spiritual events, art programs, street performances, food festivals, and sporting and entertainment events on a regional and international scale.

The third quarter will concentrate on creativity, exchange and international integration. Key events will include the Da Nang Asia Film Festival in July, and the Da Nang International Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Herbs Festival in August.
September is expected to see a high density of events, including the Da Nang – Hoi An International Lantern Festival, the Da Nang International SUP Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival activities, and the Da Nang Creative Arts Week.
In the fourth quarter, the series of events continues to extend the year-end tourism season. Highlights will be the Pickleball PPA Tour Asia – Vietnam Cup 2026 between September and October, and the “Colors of Tra Van” Culture – Tourism Festival in November.
The year will conclude with the Da Nang New Year Welcome Festival 2027 in late December, creating a lively atmosphere to usher in the new year.
According to the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organizing more than 50 large-scale events in 2026 will contribute to preserving and promoting local cultural values. At the same time, it will create distinctive tourism products, enhance experiences for locals and tourists, and affirm Da Nang’s image as a dynamic, culturally rich, and friendly destination.
