Da Nang postpones DNIM 2021 amid COVID-19 concerns

The Manulife Da Nang International Marathon (DNIM) 2021, which was scheduled to take place on August 8, 2021, will be postponed amid the complicated developments of COVID-19, and it is expected to be held on March 20, 2022 instead, as proposed by its organiser, PULSE Co.,Ltd. PULSE Co.,Ltd. had previously sent an official dispatch to the Da Nang People’s Committee and the municipal Department of Culture and Sports to ask for the postponement of DNIM 2021. The dispatch clearly stated that, the COVID-19 wave caused difficulties in organising such a sporting event with large gatherings. Still worse, the limitations of communications activities triggered by the virus resurgence also resulted in a limited number of DNIM participants.
