The positive result comes from the city’s preferential policies to support investors.
For instance, projects in the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) are entitled to an operational term of up to 70 years. Also, they can enjoy preferential tax rate of 10% for 15 years, tax exemption for the first 4 years and a 50% tax reduction for the following nine years.
In addition, the city is developing and expanding new industrial zones, including the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park, the Hoa Cam Industrial Park at Phase 2 and the Hoa Nhon Industrial Park. These zones cover a total area of about 700 hectares, creating an abundant land fund for investment projects in many different fields.
Currently, the city is completing procedures for two new infrastructure investment projects with a combined area of over 490 hectares, including the 400ha Hoa Ninh Industrial Park and the 90ha Free Trade Zone. This effort aims to prepare a large, ready-to-use land fund to welcome the new wave of secondary investment.
Moreover, during the year, the city has been prioritizing investment promotion activities by organizing regional and international conferences and events, plus international cooperation, cultural diplomacy, and defense diplomacy activities.
The city’s Investment Promotion Agency has coordinated with related units to organize 10 investment promotion events and conferences, including one overseas and nine domestic ones.

Two local investment promotion delegations have been sent to key international markets, notably the UAE and Singapore, to work with nearly 40 potential partners.
Investment promotion activities have been strongly carried out through such events as “Da Nang Meets Europe”, “Meet ASEAN in Da Nang”, “Meet Thailand 2025”, the Swiss – Viet Economic Forum 2025, and Italian Days in Da Nang.
Since the beginning of the year, the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations and its affiliated member organizations have welcomed and worked with 25 delegations of international guests. The unit has also coordinated with relevant units to organize many cultural and people-to-people exchange activities.
