Da Nang to host Investment Promotion Conference for Free Trade Zone and Logistics Infrastructure on November 28

A conference on investment promotion for Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and Logistics Infrastructure in Da Nang will take place on the afternoon of November 28 at the city’s Administrative Center, 24 Tran Phu, Hai Chau Ward. Photo: MAI QUE The event is chaired by the Da Nang People’s Committee in coordination with the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, and the Export – Import Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The conference is expected to attract 150 delegates including representatives of foreign organizations in Vietnam (World Bank in Vietnam, AmCham, EuroCham, JETRO and KOTRA); industry and logistics associations; organizations, investors, associations, import-export and logistics enterprises; and universities and colleges offering logistics training programs in the city; plus economic experts, researchers and organizations interested in the logistics sector. The one-session event will feature key activities such as an introduction to the Da Nang Free Trade Zone, information about specific and breakthrough policies to attract investment in the Da Nang Free Trade Zone, the investment attraction plan for the Lien Chieu Port and the expansion of the Chu Lai Airport, and the city’s advantages in developing logistics infrastructure, regional connectivity and connection with the East – West Economic Corridor.
