Fair introducing OCOP and typical agricultural products in Da Nang

The Da Nang Farmers’ Association opened a fair featuring agricultural and OCOP products on Saturday in response to the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods” in 2024. The fair attracts crowds of visitors The fair is being held at the Central Square of Lien Chieu District until August 25. With a series of exciting events, the event aims to strengthen cooperation and linkage between Farmers’ Associations and cooperatives, cooperative groups at all levels in the city, and Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue provinces. At the same time, the fair provides farmer members with the opportunity to display and introduce products, and promote trade, supply and demand connection, cooperation, linkage, and joint ventures in product production and consumption. The fair has 37 booths, displaying and introducing a wide range of products of each locality such as plant varieties, livestock, ornamental plants, agricultural – forestry – aquatic products, food and OCOP products. Gifts are given to disadvantaged farmers in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province. There are many fascinating activities including the ‘Ring the golden bell’ contest, a good propagandist competition, and folk games. On the occasion, the municipal Farmers’ Association presented 20 gifts to disadvantaged farmers in the city and Quang Nam Province.
