On Saturday, the Da Nang Department of Tourism partnered with the city-based Viet Nam Travel Mart JSC to host a group of staff members from the Coal and Mineral Hospital in Quang Ninh Province to visit Da Nang in 4 days and 3 nights.

The move marked the beginning of the implementation of an cooperative agreement between governments of Da Nang and Quang Ninh on driving post-pandemic recovery of their local tourism sector.
As part of the agreement, flights between Da Nang and the northern province of Quang Ninh are scheduled to resume on 28 April 2021.
Da Nang has developed action plans to promote the development of M.I.C.E (Meetings-Incentives-Conferences-Exhibitions) tourism which is considered to be a major driver for a strong rebound of Da Nang tourism industry during the 2020-2021 period.
