Since the start of the Lunar New Year, Da Nang has focused on appealing for domestic and foreign investment into 44 projects worth between 30,000 USD and 400 million USD each.
Half of these projects involve in the aspects of information technology and hi-tech.
In particular, appeals for investment are being made for the construction of a solar power plant at a cost of between 150 and 400 million USD, and another 200 million USD factory producing semiconductor materials.
In addition, the municipal authorities will negotiate with investors to accelerate the construction of their delayed projects, including the 52ha Software Park No 2.
Besides, FDI investment is being encouraged for such aspects as digital, nanotechnology, bio-industry, new materials and hi-tech agriculture.
Therefore, Da Nang has always welcomed and created favourable conditions for multinational investors, mainly from Japan, South Korea, the USA, Australia, and European countries.
