Students and Startup 2020′ programme launched

The Creation and Startup Club under the Da Nang University of Technology and Education has launched the ‘Students and Startup 2020’ programme with the collaboration of the city’s Hi-tech Park General Service Centre and the Song Han Incubator. In his remarks at the launching ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Trung Hung, Vice Rector of the municipal University of Technology and Education, highlighted the programme to offer opportunities to students across Da Nang, especially those from his school, to conduct scientific research activities into highly practical products to benefit their community. Mr Hung also said that, last year, students from his school created many highly practical products. Included were a smart walking stick for the elderly, a fire and gas leak detection system, and a machine making environmentally-friendly bowls and dishes. Mr Hung added that, in 2020, the Creation and Startup Club will conduct more research into new technological products in an effort to bring them to fruition, and to compete in municipal and national-level creativity and startup contests.
