Winners of floral displays and lighting decorations in Tet 2022 announced

Winners of a contest to find the best ideas for floral displays and lighting decorations in Da Nang for the Tet Festival 2022 has been recently published on the municipal Department of Construction’s website. An architectural design on floral decorations at the T-bridge area on Bach Dang Street In particular, as for the category of floral decorations, a group of students from the municipal University of Architecture won the first prize for their design idea entitled “Brilliant Han River”. The “Connection” and “Spring Wishes” design ideas, both from students from the University of Architecture, claimed second and third prizes respectively. Meanwhile, first, second and third prize winners of the category of lighting decorations were from the Da Nang University of Science and Technology. In particular, the first prize was awarded to the design idea themed “Wonderful Da Nang”, whilst the second and third prizes respectively went to “Light of Nation” and “Celebrating Tet 2022” entries. To ensure good practice of COVID-19 preventive measures, the awards ceremony of the contest will not be held, but the Department of Construction has announced contest winners via its website and sent award certificates and cash prizes to prize winners by post. Also, Certificates of Merit have been awarded to units and individuals in recognition of their active involvement in ensuring the success of the contest.
