Work to start on 3 new Da Nang industrial parks soon

Da Nang is implementing investment procedures for the development of the second phase of Hoa Cam, Hoa and Hoa Nhon industrial parks (IPs) and industrial clusters (ICs) of Cam Le, Hoa Nhon and Hoa Khanh Nam. The municipal People’s Committee has submitted to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for appraisal, assessment, and would-be report to the Prime Minister for approval on the in-principle investment policy for these projects. Currently, the Ministry of Planning and Investment is collecting constructive opinions from relevant ministries and branches on the dossiers of the above-mentioned projects. The municipal administration has directed the authority of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones to closely work with national government agencies to speed up the appraisal of the projects’ documents and submit them to the Prime Minister for approval. If approved, work is slated to start on these projects in the third quarter of this year. The municipal government has also approved the investment policy, capital source and fund-balancing capacity and overall site clearance and resettlement plans for the Hoa Nhon and Hoa Hiep Bac ICs.
